Job change experience after new bill- I have a big question. My question is if somebody changes job six months after filing 485 and INS does not make any decision on the application during that six months- does the applicant has to come back to his previous company after I-485 is approved?
This is a big question because the basis of 485 application is about a future job. Do you know if the new law says anything about this.

No, you don\'t have to come back to the old employer...

I think the big question is: In case of a job change, do we need to file a new I140 while I485 continues to be valid.. Also what is the interpretation of same or similar occupation classification? is it that \'Programmer\' in old company LCA should also be \'Programmer\' in New company? ...

The questions to such are what the lawyers are wrangling with INS.. it just takes time for INS to lay down the fact clearly...
