Job change - differnce in salary & title

Guys,

I have obtained the details of labor certificate (job description, title and salary) from previous (GC sponsored) employer. Here are the details:

Title defined in the labor certificate: Senior Software Engineer
Salary: 80K
Old employer’s location: PA

Current Title: Software Engineer
Salary is 10K less compare to labor certificate
New employers location: TX
Job changed after 11 months from I-485 RD (3/15/02)
Job description: Same
Not informed INS about the change of job
Will hire a new attorney shortly.

Are their any problems because of the above differences? BCIS may issue an RFE or transfer the case to local office?

Please advice…

Your title looks to be okay even though it is no longer 'senior'. You can address this issue with the logic that you do the same kind of job with the new company and this new company does not care about 'senior' thing.

But I have recently seen some postings on murthy.com that BCIS has recently expressed the view that now job needs to have >= LC salary.

I just don't want to scare you since there are a lot of gray areas in AC21, but please be careful.
