We all have beaten this horse to death but still I have more questions. I got GC approval two weeks back. I want to change my employer and go for 1099 by next February. Will I have any problems when I go for the renewal of GC after 10 years. It seems like I have to wait 3-6 months before changing the job. How INS will know what date I changed the job since there are no dates mentioned on the W2 form or tax return forms? Has anyone really met a lawyer regarding this? Is anyone in the same situation.
