Job change after GC approval

I got my GC approved in April and now my client want me to join permanently else I will lose job, job description is same, how soon can one change jobs afer getting GC approval, dont have card yet.
I know this has been discussed so many times but I would like to know for sure as no one seems to be sure about it.
Pls reply if you have any idea or if you know somebody who has changed jobs after 3 months.

changing jobs after GC

I had a talk with the attorney and the reply was:
&quot;You can change job before six months, INS will not know now, but they will check the records at the time when you apply for the Citizenship. You might face the problem then.&quot;
