Job Change after FP, will this cause an issue? Please help

I completed my FP today.

The funding for the project I was working on was not renewed. I had anticipated this and got another job which will start in the 3rd week of April 2006.

The employer that I'm about to leave has asked me to stay on as a casual employee paid on an hourly basis to support the project closeout process.

Do I need to either send in any paperwork about job change, or do I need to mention it during the interview?

I would appreciate advise in this matter.

Please help.

No paperwork needs to be submitted on this.

During the interview, the interviewing officer will go over your N-400, and he/she may ask you if there are any updates or changes, either as a general question or on the employment history section specifically as they're reviewing it. Provide the updated information if asked, but otherwise there's no need to worry about it. And don't worry about changes in employment status impacting your cases so long after acquiring permanent residency, especially when the circumstances are well beyond your control.
