I am kinda confused here - I was looking at the approved LC and it shows that SOC/O*NET(OES) Code is 15-1061.00 which is "Computer Scientists and Database Administrators" but I do Systems Administration/Network Administration

source: http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos042.htm in DOL website.

On the document the following lines are included:

Network systems and data communications analysts, also referred to as network architects, design, test, and evaluate systems such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), the Internet, intranets, and other data communications systems. Systems are configured in many ways and can range from a connection between two offices in the same building to globally distributed networks, voice mail, and e-mail systems of a multinational organization. Network systems and data communications analysts perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, often requiring both hardware and software solutions. For example, a network may involve the installation of several pieces of hardware, such as routers and hubs, wireless adaptors, and cables, while also requiring the installation and configuration of software, such as network drivers. Analysts also may research related products and make necessary hardware and software recommendations.

I just want to make sure that if I want to move to a different company I can work as a "Systems Administrator/Network Administrator" not Database Administrator. Please shead some light on this matter if you know any ...

Appreciate your suggestion/thoughts

Thanks

Curious - where and how did you find the code and what it infers to . My labor does not seem to have this code/title...!!!@@

Check on your approved LC section F. (Prevailing Wage Information) number 2. You should be able to find out your's

Thanks

2007, you've been here for a while now and should know better than to multi post.
Please don't. Post your question on a relevant forum and someone will answer it.

Don't chide him NJ. We all know how convoluted is this process and can result in paronoia.
He just wants to line up his ducks.
And not all people visit all threads. Cut him some slack, please.
