Job Chabge during 485

Have a job offer with salary 1.5 times the one mentioned in labor...same designation but different job description.

How safe is it to change the job?

Any input is appreciated.

Could you please post little more details about your case? Like, any RFE, transfer to local INS, what were the questions asked to you at the time of stamping and how did you answer?

See..slight differences in job description wont be an issue. Particulary in IT field. But you cannot say, initially it was computer programming and now it is making burgers at Mcdonalds. That would be a difference.
 
may I ask two more question?

1. plan work on H1 in the new company..is it a good idea?? (Dont want to be out of status if something happens to 485)

2. Is it a good idea to start labor in new company to be on a safet side??
 
The cons of using H1 are- you use the 6 year H1 time. If you use EAD you stop consuming that time- so if your GC process stops you can get back to H1- at least you have unspent time left.
Starting labor again is of no use or an overkill. If you can't get AC21 thru the new employer - you probalably will not get labor thru them.
