Hi Jim,

My SPouse EAD got approved on 12/03/02 and is mailed on 12/05/02. I did not receive the Card or the Aprroval Notice yet.

Can you tell me if this is common . And what are my options.

I called IIO and she says I have to wait till mid January and re-apply the EAD .I feel its so absurd....Please suggest.

In desperate need of EAD....

This time of year the mail is very slow (sometimes) in the US. You will need to wait as suggested and then if you still do not receive it you need to take action. Are you certain it was not sent to your attorney? That happens sometimes.
 
Yes I checked with the attorney and he did not recieve it.
And what are my options in taking Action.Please suggest.

It depends on how cooperative INS is. You might get them to just send out another approval notice or they may want you to file an I-824, in which case you will have a several month wait.
