It has not been 90 days since i applied for my EAd extension and my EAd is expiring this week

1. Do i need to have the approval and EAD card to continue to work or is it possible to work with the renewal receipt.

2. Is it possible in anyway to get the EAD approval expedited if my lawyer talks to the INS

3. My company is based in Boston and my lawyer is boston. but i live and work in pittsburgh. My 485 receipt and all correspondence goes to my lawyers address in boston. Is it possible that i can travel to Boston and the Boston INS will issue me the renewal EAD as they are issuing walk in EADs

There was a recent post in this board that someone got same-day EAD and AP approval in Boston on 11/20/2002 .... you can make an attempt to implore and convince IIOs at the local INS regarding the necessity of having an EAD .... There may be a luck factor..

Most of the lawyers suck ... it is highly unlikely that your lawyer can do anything ... but you should create a huge pressure on him (may be thro' your employer) ...

My message : Instead of sitting back and waiting what Jim says , you should make your best efforts before it is too late ...
