When Yan Qingxin and Liu Junguo moved from San Francisco to Washington D.C., Liu expressed the hope that Ji Wei would move in with them. He said, in Virginia Yan has her own house, Ji could move in with them. Ji Wei and Liu Junguo had been through thick and thin together for a long time. Therefore, Ji felt that it was a feasible plan, so he accepted the invitation and moved in with them.

In the beginning after Ji Wei moved into Yan Qingxin’s house, things seemed to be normal. Then, some very unusual guests started to visit. These people are not in Overseas Democratic Movement, nor Qigong practitioners, nor business people. From the pompous air these people put on, it seems they are from the Chinese Embassy. Some are just like Chinese high-ranking officials. At first, Yan Qingxin politely asked Ji Wei to give her privacy in meeting with her guests; soon her tone became irritated, and demanded Ji Wei “to get out”. At that point, both sides felt it a nuisance. Ji started to feel that this wouldn’t be a long-term thing and started to look for another place. Right before Ji was ready to tell them that he was going to move out, Yan demanded that Ji move out. Ji Wei was a bit annoyed, but just moved as well.

It was alright, Ji thought. But soon, Ji learned from other people that Yan told others that the reason she asked Ji to move out was, Ji jumped into her office from the window and stole info from her computer. Ji Wei would never have dreamed that Yan would offer such an explanation to others. In this way, Ji Wei was accused of being a thief.

Yan forced Ji to move out. Consequently, Liu Junguo felt very embarrassed in facing Ji Wei. Since it was Liu who invited Ji to move in with them and now Ji was forced to move out without a good excuse, Liu felt very guilty. Ji Wei’s father saved Liu before, now under Yan Qingxin’s abusive power, Liu dared not to obey. He mentioned that he found it hard to tell Ji to move out. Yan said, I don¡¯t need you to tell him, I will. Ji Wei is a very reasonable man and he doesn’t want Liu to have a hard time with his old wife, so he left. Yet, out of blue, he was still stabbed in the back by Yan from behind.

When Ji was staying with them, Ji often privately felt disgusted by Yan’s hypocrisy. Now, unexpectedly, Yan put on such a show after he had left. Ji said, Yan is such an evil character. If she dares to slander him again, he will let the public know how Yan framed Zhang Hongbao, Peng Ming. He also will go open on how he knows about Zhang Qi’s background. Ji Wei is holding all these for the time being, for the sake of Liu Junguo’s face. Liu is very upset, too, since Yan Qingxin has completely ruined his dignity. Yet, Liu Junguo is still tolerating Yan at the moment.
