Let say I want you to represnt me. My I-485 is filed lets say more than 6 six months back and I want to change the job ( or don\'t change the job ). But want to chagne the attorney as he/she no more responds to my calls properly.

How can you do that? How are you going to get the paper work from old attorney? If he/she don\'t give you the paper work, how could you represent me?

If you have answer to these, I would like to communicate on personal level to facilitate attorney-client relationship. I know your email address : jdmills@justice .com

Thanks

I\'d file a G-28 to notify INS that I now represent you in this matter. I\'d wait about 3 weeks and then call INS to verify that their records reflect the change. I would also contact the previous attorney and request the file. The attorney MUST send a copy of the file. I would get as aggressive with this as necessary to get the file, but I doubt it would be very difficult.
