Folks,
My 485 got approved today. Yesterday I opened a new thread saying that my spouse got a RFE and today I got a mail saying that it's been approved.

Little History:
EB2-RIR-India
Labor approved in June'2001.
140 approved in Dec'01.
485-RD:31Jan2002.

1st FP:April'02
2nd FP:Jan'04.

3 EAD's & 3 AP's.

No RFE.

I submitted a birth certificate which I got it from indian consulate.

How did u do that? Does the Indian consulate issue birth certificates? That would be news to me. I would be grateful if you could provide more info on this.

I got the Birth Certificate from Indian Consulate in San Francisco. I downloaded the form from the website, http://www.indianconsulate-sf.org/ and went personally over there and got it on the same day.

It was sometime back in mid of 2001.

I was not aware of this and my parents were having a heck of a time getting one. I sent in affidavits, but expecting an RFE. I might as well be prepared.
