now...if it is more than 2-3 weeks after 2nd FP we should call the FBI fingerprint check Tel number and find out if the results have been passed on to the service center...shall we start this ????

Your ND/RD are very close to mine. Please keep me posted on your status. As for me, I have not heard a thing from our beloved USCIS.

Hi Japanese,

I had only two 'sick' updates.
First update: After I had applied for 485 in Jan'03..." it takes between 570-600 ......".
And then I had updated address in July.
Second update Aug 26: Update changed to " we responded to your request ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,".

Its over 14 days after Second FP and my online message never changed.

But when I use 1-800 number, it says that : " due to technical problems we cannot locate ur case.try some other time".It has been like this after my address change!!!!!


Anything new?

No, nothing new still...the only change in my online status occurred about two weeks after I went to FP2 at Harlem ASC in Illinois. This is what it says now:

Receipt Number: LIN030XXXXXXX

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On October 12, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

Hope it would change soon... :D

Mine was done in Naperville, Illinois( Second FP,nov 2004). Why my case cannot be located in AVM ( 1-800 number) since I changed my address in july 2004?,,It says technical problem..sucks.,

Given the nature of USCIS, I am not at all surprised by this, unfortunately...

today (12/07) I contacted FBI Fingerprint Check office and asked the status of our 2nd fingerprinting done on 11/30..the lady after asking my Name,SSN,Anumber & DOB told me that the results were sent back to USCIS on 11/30 (meaning same day service)

Then I contacted FBI Namecheck office..A lady there asked me to send my details Name,DOB & A number to FBINNCP@ic.fbi.gov

Let's see what happens
