Hi, All,
Finally, I can show my case inforamtion to all.
When I logined USCIS website, I got one surprise. My case (OUtstanding Researcher) is approved today. My case was filed in Jan, after that, I didn't see LUD change until approved.
Actually, I have a long journey on my I-140 application. In 2002, I filed my first EB-1A sponsored my employer(it's a wrong category), after one year, the case was denied after we replied a RFE. The denied letter implied I only qualified two criteria. In 2003, I joined a small start up company. Since still in development stage, no revenue, I know USCIS would question the qualification as a EB-1B sponsor. So, I filed second EB-1A in Oct, 2003 since I become a IEEE senior member, I still didn't receive anything about it until now. In 2004, I joined the current company, a mid-size public company, only reason is I want a reliable sponsor for my EB-1B. We filed my second EB-1B(I withdrew one EB-1B after I left my small company) in Jan 2005. Since my terrible experience in green card application, I didn't believe my case has survived at this time.
My major evidences are:
1)22 publications, 14 as the first author, about 2/3 are in Chinese. 30 citations.
2) Orignal contribution. 8 references, 3 are independent among them.
3) IEEE senior member
4) Reviewed two journals, letters from editor of the journals
5) some small awards
I think they probabely counted 2 in my 1) 2) 3) evidences.
For guy who is prepareing EB-1 case, I'm suggesting that it may be good way to become an IEEE senior member. it's not difficult, you just need 3 IEEE senior member recommended. In the SM letter, you will see the words only less than 7% in 380K total members qualified it. It may become a valid evidence for EB-1B, but I'm not sure for EB-1A.
I got a lot of important information from this forum, it's really very helpful. Good luck for your case.
