I have been reading all the posts here for a month now. Great work and all of you just relax and I pray for all those here that God helps you all.
I too am in a dilemma, MY employer based GC details
RD - 01/11/02
ND - 01/16/02
FP - recieved March 14, 2002.
After that nothing. As you all know the process has slowed down a lot now.
In the middle of all this I am getting married to a US citizen next week, my job is not very secure, and I stand a chance to loose it. I have no idea how much more longer my case will need to get approved.
We are planning on filing a family based AOS, after we get married next week. Can anyone please kindly tell me if the Chicago office processes employment based and family based irrespectively?
How long do you all think I will need before I get some kind of confirmation that my application is on file, something like a reciept notice.
