Guys.. finally.. i got approved.. mine and my wife's case has been approved.. today.. RD 10/18...

EAD extension theory looks true.. i had applied for EAD extension on MONDAY and today it is approved.. thanks a lot for everybody for all their help and support.. and Thanks Rajiv Khanna.. for keepting site running and for all his support..

This case has been approved. On November 01, 2002, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.

That's my RD too and i applied for EAD a week back!

Hopefully the EAD extension theory is validated by more approvals :D

My RD was 10/17, and is waiting. EAD renewal RD 9/26/02, ND 10/3/02, waiting

If the EAD extension is true, we(DEC RD) want to apply for the extension right away now. Who knows........
 
No... Its not true in my case

I applied for EAD on 09/27/02 (RD), 10/02/02(ND).
EAD is approved.
I485 is still old message

the EAD thory is not TRUE because there are more evidence contrary to that(me too) than in favor.
