Hello, can anyone give me any advise? I am a J2 currently working for a company who are sponsoring me for permanent residency, my PERM case has been in process for one week. My husband is the J1. Our visa's expire in March 07. If PERM is approved and I140 approved (premium processing) then we will still run out of time as the EB3 category I come in to would still not give me an actual visa for 4 or so years. So, I am trying to find a way to stay in the US - can I apply for a J1 somewhere and my husband be the J2? And if so can he apply for a work permit the same as I have been able to?
