I am on an J2 visa as a spouse of a J1 and I am currently filing in the paperwork to apply for an EAD. I am wondering whether I need to include a copy of my marriage certificate. On the official USCIS website there is no mention of it for people on a J2, however, when I do an internet search lots of universities advise their employees or students to include a copy.
