Hi Friends,

I am waiting to hear from USCIS after getting a favourable recommendation from DOS. Is there a way to track the application at this stage? or just wait? how long does it take at USCIS. At DOS it took 6 weeks for my application.
 
Have you gotten a receipt from USCIS? If so, then all you can do is wait. Sometimes (like in my case) USCIS does not issue a receipt, just the final approval. In any case, it's just a frustrating waiting game. Many people here had their cases approved in 2-3 weeks after the DOS sent the recommendation. Mine took almost 10 weeks. So it all depends! Good luck.
 
Just be patient, I think the time depends mainly on a type of a waiver and your cuntry of origin. My case was aproved fairy quick, but I never received a receipt from USCIS, just the approval notice.
