I'm about to apply for a waiver from the J1 2 year Home Residency Agreement. (UK citizen) Does anyone have any advice in what to include in the "statement of reason" or any topics to avoid? Are they looking for a sentence or a lengthy description of why you wish to stay in the US?
Also..if the waiver gets granted (ever the optimist) are you still allowed to exit/re-enter the US for the duration of the original J1 visa?
