j1 waiver: no word from DOS

hi jigesh and all,

I applied for J1 waiver and the online status-check (which seems to be updated every 2 months) says they received all documents incl the no obj from indian embassy by/on dec 19.
I have'nt heard yet from them and the phone never goes through.

Iam worried as most of them I've known got the approval within a month.

please share the time-frames involved in this regard.

My No Object application was receive by dos on november 19, on january 2 my ambassy send no object statement, which was approved by dos on january 22, I think it was pretty fast, 3 weeks after receiving no object statement, now waiting for final waiver from INS.

web page with online status of cases is updated every 3 weeks..
