I am on J1 visa with the 2 year HRR since Jan 2006 in US. I want to know if its possible to get the waiver in within one year time period? Though, I have learned that J-visa status can now be extended upto maximum 5 years! Also, let me know if it is possible for my wife who is currently on J2 visa with me, to apply for J1 visa on her own? What are the ways to get waiver in the quickest manner?
During the application of Waiver (NORI) do I have to send my documents to all the state government where in I had lived or I had a ration card from at one other time of my life?
