I had come on a Fullbright program in 2004 and have been here on extensions of my J1 as Visiting professors. Now I have a tenure track job and need a waiver of the HRR as the University is eager to sponsor me. Is it possible? I have read that some of you who have been on a fulbright have been succesful in getting waivers. Please help as I am desperate. Also what are the steps...Get the NORI before the DOS application process or the other way round?
