Hello,
My mother had applied for family based immigration VISA. She recently just made the AOS/IV payment, so we are expecting to immigrate to U.S. in a year or so. I am just wondering in the mean time if I could apply for J1 VISA to intern in U.S. I understand that J1 VISA is not meant for people with dual intent. However, the company is not going to sponsor me for a H1-B VISA as an intern. I really want to grab onto this opportunity, so I can successfully get a job after we immigrate to U.S. What are my options? Thank you very much!
