J1 visa Exchange Skill Set

Hello,
I have some doubts in J1 visa.
A company of USA wants to sponsor me an Internship/Trainee.
The problem is...

I am from India and I am an Infromation Technology Graduate B.E. (4 years Degree ) and the Internship is on Database Administrator(12 Months).

So if I process my J1 visa then the 2 Year HRR is applies to me or not.
I had seen the Exchange Skill sets but cant get my answer.

Because I want to convert it to H1 B.

My background- IT Engg. & Proff- Database Administrator

And onething what is the best Organization in India which can help me in Visa Processing after getting DS-2019 form.

How much time it take to get J1 visa stamped at US Consulate and percentage of success.

Please advice me soon.

Many of the IT-related areas are in India skill list and in my opinion, you will likely subjected to 2 year rule.

Because I want to convert it to H1 B.

When once you get your form, you can process it on your own..it is not that complicated.
How much time it take to get J1 visa stamped at US Consulate and percentage of success.
It depends on the consulate appointment. You can get an appointment quickly, you can get J1 soon. Success is hard to predict..it depends on individual cases
