J1 to H1B

is it possible to switch J1 to H1B????Im intern with Masters degree in Architecture and work permition here.Or is it possible to extend my J1 but with new employer?In my visa theres note:"two year rule does not apply"
"bearer is not subject of 212 E"
please help..I need info ASAP!!!
when is my deadline to apply?
 
Yes it is possible to get H1B visa after J1, However in order to apply for your H1B you need to get waiver (J1 Home Residency). This is strictly based on my personal experience. I had applied for H1B concurrently when wavier was being processed INS issued notice of evidence for the waiver.
