I benefited a lot from this forum during this waiver struggle! So just wanted to post my experience here.
Waiver based on NO OBJECTION
DS-3035 filed: May 30, 2006
DOS favorable recommendation: June 21, 2006
Received DOS letter: July 3, 2006
Then nothing from USCIS Nebraska center! Finally after umpteen phone calls, letters, I faxed a request to the DOS to re-sent my case to the USCIS and that is what worked!
USCIS received: September 27, 2006
Case # thru mail: October 2, 2006
Waiver approved: OCtober 18, 2006
Waiver approval in mail: October 25, 2006
H1-B Premium processing: 0ctober 8, 2006
H1-B approved: October 18, 2006.
