I received my J1 waiver recently. Current J1 status expires in May 2007.
Have been looking for jobs in industry. BUT there is one hitch that is troubling me: Even if a company is interested in hiring me, why would they want to wait till October 1, 2007 when I can start my legal employment.
I have a PhD and currently doing a postdoc. Would O1 be the way to go? Has anyone been in a similar situation?
