I would say it depends on what your reason is for applying the waiver. I didn't apply from US and didn't even mentioned anything regarding my job. Sure if you are applying to waive the 2-years rule to get a working visa that's what you need to write about. But I applied simply because my partner lives in US and I want to go back there and that's exactly what I stated as reason. Some were saying it's not a strong reason for USCIS but apparently it was since I got the approval. So Just write the main reason that you are applying for the waiver. Doesn't need to be a long statement.
