Hi guys,

First time posting as I'm about to embark (like so many of you have done) on a marriage based AOS. Me (British Citizen) and my fiance are marrying in 6 weeks around 10 days before my J1 expires. I just wanted to double check I had all the correct documentation printed out to send off to USCIS. If anyone has done anything similar and has any pointers on what I'm missing then that would be fantastic. Here it is:

-Copy of my J1 visa documentation.

-i-765. 2 photos of me, copy of my visa.

-I-130 with supporting G-325A (me and her). photo of me and my wife. evidence of co mingling of finances. copy of both of our birth certificates, copy of our marriage certificate.

I-485 with supporting G-325A (mine) and supporting I-864. Two photos of me. another copy of my birth certificate. i-693 in sealed envelope.

-I-864. We have a joint sponser who will be filling this- her tax return, w2's and 1099's. Also have my fiances I-864 and copies of her stipends- she doesn't meet the minimum requirement and didnt file a tax return.

I-131- i wanted to go visit my father in england for christmas. two phots of me, copy of my passport, copy of i94. I'm not sure yet if my wife will be going too, i guess that wouldn't matter for uscis?

-Copy of my I-94 front and back

-Both of passports (does this have to be the real thing or are copies ok?)

-Original Advance Parole Support Letter (me only)

-Original Employment Verification Letter (me only)

-Affidavits from family and friends confirming validity of marriage

-Copy of my tax return.

-Copies of co-mingling. Joint bank account, lease agreement, renters insurance, will, car insurance.

-photographs of us together. wedding photographs.

- copy of wedding invitation.

Phew! I think that's what I have from my research so far. If anyone has any questions regarding more information about my status then please let me know!

I appreciate any input.

thank you very much,

James

Hi Jack!

thanks for your response.

No my J1 is not subject to the 2 year waiver.

Was there anything else you think that I should be looking at?
