I came to this country in 1997 on H1B visa and did two years of residency (1997-1999)
Then I changed to J1 to finish UROLOGY residency in a university as UNI. Refused to do H1B (1999-2004)
Then I got a Job in VA medical center on J1 waiver-H1B currently.
I am a beneficiary of I140 (EB-2) +NIW form VA + I 485
I am also beneficiary of I140 EB1-EA.
I started my waiver on Aug 15th 2004. I have another year and half to go! I would like to move to Dallas VAMC. Reason: My wife is very religious Andhra girl and she is missing Indian Temple, and I have three daughters who we want to raise in the strong Indian Community of Dallas. Dallas VA urology Job is high volume, academic and this is a much better job than I have right now.
Question: Can I transfer from VA to another VA same job probably same salary, same designation?!
Will USCIS have a problem with this?
Will this transfer have any effect at the time of adjudication of I 485?!
