J-1 Visa question

So, I`m on a student exchange program. I left the last that I worked and moved to Florida. For that reason they said that my J-1 VISA is terminated and I`m out of status. If this didn`t happen my VISA was till 1st October. All I`m asking is how to make legal my staying till 10/10 when are my tickets for back home , so I wont have problems getting J-1 VISA next year.

If your sponsor discontinues your program, your DS-2019 will become out of status immediately. From that date, you have 30-day grace period to leave USA. if this is your situation then you dont have to worry.
