J-1 travel outsde US with I-140 pending

Hi all,

can I travel with valid J-1 visa outside US if I filed I-140 about 7 months ago (still pending?). I have not filed I-485 yet. Could there be some potential problems at the border when I return?

If you have not filed the I-485 application, you should be able to travel with valid J-1 visa.
