J-1 to f-1 to marriage to USC

Hey guys,

I have some questions and I really need your help.

1. I came on J-1 in 2002. I was supposed to work until october, but I worked until June 2003. Now that I am applying for adjustment of status, do I have to list those months of employment? Won't that affect my ability to adjust my status. If I do declare the illegal employment, will I have to pay a fine?

2. When I came to US I was on J-1. I changed it to B-1 and then to F-1 and I got my husband (now ex) on F-2.

3. I got divorced from the F-2, but when I transfered from college to university I did not declare that I got divorced so they renewed my ex's I-20. I guess I did not want him to have more problems than those created by me with my divorce.

4. When I file for LPR (currently married with USC and expecting a child ), will the INS start the removal proceedings for my ex? We share joint custody for our child together.

I know he is my ex and all, but I would hate to see him having to leave and not be able to see his daughter. I was even thinking of waiting with my application until he does something with his status. I 've already caused him enough problems, I do not want to add deportation to them.

Thanks for your replies, understanding, and help.
