Not sure I am posting the thread on the good section but anyway, I hope I will have an answer!
I am in the US under J-1 intern visa which ends Nov-17, 2011 and I am NOT subject to the 2 year-rule. My husband is a Green Card holder and has applied for citizenship recently. If everything goes well and he gets it, when can he apply for me to have a GC? I heard that he has to wait 3 months before being able to file anything for me. Also,
is there any reason for me to be denied the GC? I have never been out of status and all my previous visas for US are consistent with my current studies (I had a F-1 and a J-1, and currently under my 2nd J-1). We got married two years ago while I was under my first J-1.
