Hi all,
my wife just got an offer as an adjunct professor in a public university. They do not sponsor H-1B for non-tenure track professors so it seems all she will be able to get is a J-1. It is not too bad, our country does not have a visitor's skills list and she should not be subject to 2YHRR. Here is my question: she has an offer from another institution to teach a couple of courses, sort of part-time. Can she do that while being on a J-1 sponsored by the university? Can she get like two J-1s? What other options are out there? What about NAFTA visas (we are from Mexico)? Can one have multiple employers or something like that?
Thanks, your help is appreciated!
