The instructions say if u leave the country before the biometric, the application can be denied.

I just started an internship (mandatory) to complete a programme so will not be able to stay there the whole time.

Anyone familiar with how they decide to reject an application?

If i do this with a lawyer does it have + chances of being approved, or they do not care or maybe not even realize it? Can I use the lawyer address to receive the notice?

Is this internship a valid reason to use in the application to let them know I am leaving and coming back?

for those who have received the notice:
-how long does it take from filing expedite (in NYC) to the notice in your mailbox?
-does it have a specific day and time to show up for these fingerprints? or one can show up any days after the notice?

Thanks a lot! :)

Dont worry. you ll get notice to appear for fingerprints. make sure someone is there to get the mail. you dont need a lawyer. put a friend adress....you even have the option to reschedule.

Just put. Personal matter or if you want or mandatory training for ..... program.

Thanks GCman2005.

U seem knowledgeable (lawyer or just holder that has already filed?) a couple of questions if I could get any help with that would be very much appreciated, if I file saying I need to complete this mandatory internship for the MBA:

*what docs. do I need to file this I-131?
*it is just the 3-page I-131 questionnaire or there is more to fill out?
*Can this be e-file?
*since becoming a P-Res. Aug/.12 I've actually been out of the US > 6 months (actual day count) but my last departure is < 6 months I'd like to put in part 5 (how long outside of the US since becoming a perm resident) < 6 months to be safe but then I fear they will check and find out otherwise, what to do there..?
* can also the NOTICE to pick up the travel docs. be sent abroad?
* any idea what "a number" and "class of admission" (PART 1) are ?

Thanks a lot! :)
