I just thought I would share with all of you that my $400 Check has cleared. I am sitting here all excited and I don't think I will ever be that excited again about a $400 Check clearing but after my journey so far. I am soooooo happy especially since Monday I think I started to ask myself whether I signed my second N-400 or not. I wasn't sure.

Ohhhhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhhh .. The Ball started officially running .. lol

I just hope from now on things will go at a ok speed. I really really really do. My Husband is due to deploy for the 3rd time in July and I hope that I get to be a USC before that. I just want him to be here for it. He already missed out on so much !

Does your case number show up on the USCIS website?
 
I don't have a Case # yet. My Bank doesn't post these things online under Online Banking and even if I would call they probably wouldn't tell me. I either have to call them and request a copy of the Check or I just wait until I get something from USCIS.

I just called the Bank and ask for the LIN # on the Check. She gave it to me and I entered it and it says no Case can be found or something like it. So who knows. Can you see yours ?

I can't either and that's ok. Atleast i know they didnt loose my paperwork this time LoL
 
It's good that you are excited. Don't obsess over things though -- you'll go nuts. Just sit back and wait for the notices to appear. In a couple of days (to a couple of weeks) you'll get your receipt. Your case should be on the web site about then. A little after that, you'll get your fingerprint notice. Then you sit back an wait.

Look at the web site maybe once a week. When your case disappears, your file has moved to the DO. That can take a couple of months to a couple of years.

Just sit back and check your (US Postal Service) mail. Eventually things work out. Patience seems to be as important as "attachment to the constituion" in determining your appropriateness for US Citizenship.

Oh I know Flydog ! Thanks for all the advice though. I appreciate it. I already gone through the "get to know the REAL USCIS" .. LOL .. so yea .. I am prepared for the worst and I hope for the best !

USCIS system is a bit slow when it comes to show up a case on-line at very first time. It takes a few days (up to 2 weeks) for a case to be appeared online despite of USCIS cashs out a check/Money Order OR sends a Notice of Action (Receipt notice).

Good that you re-submited your application; otherwise you would have still been in limbo.

Now, take it easy and enjoy the bumpy ride (okay, maybe smooth ride, in your case).
