hello everyone! my wife is on removal proceeding...since i didn't know the steps i filed all the forms(I-130, I 485, G325....)together; my I-130 was approved but the I-485 was administratively closed because the asylum case is still open. I spoke to my wife's lawyer she said that she will file a motion to cancel her case based on the approved I-130.It has been a month since she told me she would do it, i dont know what's next... what should i do from now on?..is it something i can follow throught with, myself? or do i need a lawyer? since uscis told me the I.J. has sole jurisdiction over her case. how long does it usually take to get an answer from I.J. after you file a motion of cancellation?
