Hello everyone.
F3 category PD 5th december 2002
My IV fees were paid last year in april ie April 2012. I was 20 years old then DOB 30.9.1991 and the PD became current in july. I got my interview dates 2-3 weeks back but it didnt havevmy name. Only the names of my parents were given.
My fees have been paid. So how do i approach this?
I m apparently eligible under CSPA.
DOB : 30th september 1991
PD : 5th december 2002
File was processed on 10th july 2009
PD became current on 8th july 2013.

I have hired a lawyer but i m not really understand what he is upto. He has emailed the NVC and stuff but the NVC gives vague responses.
I read that if fees are paid the age freezes and i should have got my interview along with my parents and i can get a new appointment letter from the counsulate.
We have waited too long and dont want things to go wrong.

Some information would be great.
THank you. :)

Some consulates have a habit of eliminating under-21 children from the interview without considering the CSPA. You'll need to write to the consulate, asserting that you are eligible to join your parents because you filed DS-230 and paid the fee before you were 21. Include proof of payment, and a copy of the approved I-130 with your letter.

Visited one person today. He is more of a travel agent but he has a very very good track record and good reputation inside the consulate. My 4 time rejected visitor visa was approved through him so yeah !! :)
He told me he will contact the consulate and get a new appointment letter with my name of it by thursday.
I am kind of disappointed with my attorney as of now as i was told that it is a fairly easy process and the attorney could have done it before the appointment letter without my name came in.

I will keep the thread updated.
If there is anything else please let me know. THank you :))
