Hello all,

This is my first post here, and probably be the last post on this board.

My details:

PD: Nov 1998
I485 RD: Jun 2001
I485 RFE: 7/14/2002
Reponse to RFE received on 8/7/2002 (per AVM)
I485 Approved: 8/19/02. My wife also got approved the same day. (per AVM)

More details are on rupnet. NSC->June under id Moon.

Now waiting for approval notices.

Waited more than a year for the priority dates to become current.

Never changed employers nor went out of job. But went through mergers/bankruptcy/acquisitions etc.

Finally, it's all over... I successfully completed my GC journey in 3 years and 9 months. I feel rock solid now and thank Almighty for this day.

My sincere thanks to Mr. Khanna for maintaining this site and rupnet for his statistical work.

Cheers.

:)

Hello mon14r,

I sent the following:
1. All my H1s since last entry. (actually sent all H1 since first entry in US) -> meets requirement for my non-immigrant status.
2. Employment letter prepared by attorney and signed by employer HR. -> meets requirement for employment verification
3. photocopy of EAD card. -> meets requirement for status after filing I485.
4. Birth affidavit from both of my parents. (same for wife) -> meets requirement for BC.

EXTRA stuff for your wife: send her H4s copies. that will prove her non-immigrant status.

Hope it helps.

Hey NACHOS: Yes, time to NACHO, gao, khushi manao. Yes patience paid off.

Moon1,

Thank you very much.. However, i posted incorrect about the non-immigrant status from 1998 to 2000 not the 2002.

Any how it really helps. Good luck ...

Moon1,

I checked the AVM today, says "we received RFE/info on 08/21/02, For this kind of case will take anywhere from 390 to 420 days. However, in this case we already done the preliminary work before the RFE, then remaining process will take approx 420 days.. you will receive a written deciscion on this case."

Did you get the message when you sent the RFE's.

Please post the details, if they are different than me.

Thanks
mon14r

Exactly the same message. This is their standard message for RFE responses.

I got mine approved in 12 days. So, start counting the days.

Good luck.:)
