Myself and wife got welcome notice today.

I had called them last friday, Monday and this wednesday. First time they said everything looks ok and waiting to be assigned. Second time they said, it is under review. Third time they said it is pending security check, also said as soon as check is done, it will be approved. I got approved today. Mine got approved first and wifes got approved about 6 hrs later.

My take is that NSC is primarily following RD...

sbabunle and narnia2000, you guys should be around the corner!

Hold tight all 2002/2003 guys would get approval soon!

Long story

Employer asked me to file GC in 2000, didnt do it ( stupid decision, friends got gc in 10 months )

Filed RIR labor through the same company in nov 2002

My company got sold to another company when labor was pending after many layoffs

Got RFE on labor, rfe went to old lawyer. I found it later and got new lawyer respond barely in time

Labor got approved in early 2004. New lawyer filed 485/140 with new company name after about 4 months!

140 approved in 2005 april, switched jobs using AC21 in 2 months. New company lawyer informed USCIS.

Marriage related RFE for wife in aug 2006

My receipt number disappeared from USCS site sometime after that.

Called them in february 2007 and got a written response saturday after I called them again with the february enquiry date.

and we got approved today!

I140 ADApril 28 2004
485 RD Oct 26 2004
ND Nov 01 2004
Transfer VSC to TSC March 15 2007

this week on monday I talked to a CSR at (800) 375 – 5283...
But I am not getting any usefull information.
What number I should call?
Do I need to talk only with CSR or somebody else?
I think my case got to be approved by this time...
Let me have your thoughts...
Thank you
Anil

You could ask them to let you talk to an immigration officer for details or say you need to raise a service request since it so much outside the processing timeframe. In my case it was easy since my receipt number wasnt in their system... so they would escalate themselves....

More info:
Your phone numbers are correct... I think CSR always picks up first.. they dont have much access... then they escalate to IO... and I think service request is raised by CSR only

You should be very close... dont loose patience....

Thanks for your quick reply..
If we say to CSR that I need to talk to IO do they connect?
If not what could be the proper way to have an IO?

Also I submitted I824, to add my wife,is in India, as derivative beneficiary...I got RD today for it...
Is this will help me to remove dust from my file or it will cause much more delay
