Iterim- EAD

Could someone throw some light on how to get the interim-EAD renewal. I filed for EAD renewal on May14. Still it is not assigned to officer. I think I should go and get the interim- EAD since my EAD expires on 08/27. I live in Raleigh NC.

I am just wondering if you hear anything about your EAD renewal lately. I applied mine one week later than you and my EAD will be expired in September...
