I am from one of the "special" countries (not India) that apparently require airport transit visas to go through italian airports for connecting flights! I was wondering if anyone has gone through this experience, and what the rules say regarding travelers holding US Advanced Parol documents? Is the airport transit visa rule waived for them?
I should have paid more attention while confirming my ticket. Who knew the italian embassy would be so booked and not be able to give any appointment until after my trip! Please advise!
