Indeed. The final stage tortures us more than before ...
It took me 1 month and a half to get AEC (LC) cleared. I didn\'t know that could be that fast and was focusing on my wife\'s H4 visa. So the copy of LC approval from my lawyer did surprise and delight me.
Then I waited for half a year for I-140. So what? Still long way to go. So I was not that nervous about that.
Then came the cut-off date waiting. I just needed to visit DOS\' web page once per month to check that out
All frustration came with I-485! We got "frontlog" or "mailrom congestion" problem caused by 245(i), that took me 2 months to get our receipts! Then the EAD thing. They didn\'t process our EAD cases in time so we had to go to INS to get interim cards. Then we waited for FP notices, which seemed to get stuck there. Most of the time INS was so quiet, that FP notices were being sent in batches for 1 week every month and some ND-March guys were still desperate waiting! How could I expect?
Then, then? Then came out Bin Laden. He brought to us more uncertainty on immigration. What will happen to us?
One of the reasons I love America is: she is a law country. Laws rule all the time. INS is still working! We got FP notices and did that in October! Now it\'s the hardest time for me, since the GC process has taken too long time that I hate to wait any longer ... But people, listen to me, without immigration I would not have such a chance to meet so many nice and helpful people here. I often ask myself, "if you were Ciba, could you devote yourself on this?" Like Pump said, "before Indian or Chinese, we are all human beings." I think my immigration to USA is a right choice. We have so many kind people like you guys.
Finally all of us will make it! Thank you and gods bless you all!
