It seems no one is getting FP notices.

That is what I am asking for one month.

Yes. The latest FP is this August. How come nobody got the notice for the
September and October?

Guess they are working on Approvals...

I guess all of the INS officials are working on approvals :)
 Hope they send our FP notices soon....
 Now, I would assume the FP approval from FBI will take
 a longer time to process the FPs.

 Any thoughts???
 
FBI and Fingerprints

The FBI usually returns the results of the fingerpinting in just 1 or 2 days. A very efficient organization, unlike the INS...

FBI has always been pretty efficient in handling immigration checks.
I think they just run fingerprints through their database and send an OK to INS if no hits come up.

The real worry is the CIA checks. Those usually take pretty long and will take longer still now. Moreover, I heard that till recently INS had a policy of adjudicating I-485 petitions even if CIA clearance is still pending (The idea was that if CIA report indicates a problem, GC would be revoked).
Now this is definitely going to change.
