Hello Everyone
My 485 application is approved and got stamped already on the passport.
The Immigration Officer confirm ID , took fingerprints, and signature. He stamped the passport indicating the temporary permanent residency status. He stated that the official GC will arrive in the next 6 to 9 months. The whole process took almost 10 minutes. The officer was very courteous too.
For those who are still waiting, my sincere advice is have lots of patience, have lots of positive attitude, have faith in God, sit back, relax, and enjoy each and every moment in life.
Finally for those of you who are interested in MY GC time line. The following describes my GC time line:
I140 submittal Date Jan 1998
EB2, NIW, India
I-140 Approval Date June 1998
485 submitted in June 1999
485 Receipt Date July 1999
Finger Prints Submitted May 2000
Case transfer notice indicated that the case was transferred to the Local Center for speed processing March 2001
Received an RFE from the Tampa Center for Most recent Medical Exam, current Employer Letter, Copy of Income Tax 2000.
April 2001, the 485-Application was approved.
April 2001, passport stamped.
I Wish you all best of luck. I understand exactly what you guys are going through. But be positive, it doesn\'t hurt. It always helps. Have faith and be good. You will get there too. This is an excellent site to keep track for what\'s going on. It always help me to update.
