It really happened, my company got acquired today.
My I-485 receipt is still in somewhere I don\'t know (have not received it yet) and my company got acquired. What should I do ? AC-21 regulations are still not out yet. Will INS find out the acquisiton and send me the RFE in the future ?
Wait for the the regulation and do nothing until everything becomes clear? or Ready to file I-140 admendment ?
And don\'t if there is any lay-off happening?
It\'s so frustrating.

I share your pain. :(

If I were you, I would just wait. I would not send an amended I-140 application until the INS asks for it.

There\'s a very good chance that INS will not know about the acquisition.

Another advice I got from someone in the discussion is to don\'t talk to IIO. This way, they won\'t be alerted that there might be something different with your case.

Company acquired is not a problem.
Many of my friends went through this situation unharmed as long as the new company keeps you there and in the same/similar positions/same location etc.

You are covered man. Don\'t you worry.
