It is Ok -----claim unemployment benefit shortly after 485 approval

Hi folks,

I went over some of the threads that talked about unemployment
benefits claim after 485 appoval. Some people said it is ok and
some said it 's not good until 6 months later after approval, but
nobody gave anything that comes from INS.


I checked out INS webpage and found out that you won't lose
your GC anytime after 485 approval only because you file the
claim.

Anyway,please post your experience/thought regarding this issue.

I got my GC in 6/03 and I want to claim unemployment benefit
soon but I am scared of GC revocation as some folks said.

I think it should be okay to file for unemp. benefits after GC.

I know someone personally who did it, and his gc has so far not been revoked. Though, if possible delay a little filing for unemp .. ie. if u got ur gc yesterday, don't file today.
