It is frustrating to wait for approval after the 2nd FP, though I know that lot of people are waiting for 2nd FP.
 
Yes it undeniably is... my friend got a RFE after exact 30 days of 2FP and I got nothing till date (45th day today after 2FP).
 
My friend got his Approval after 3 weeks of his 2nd FP. This FP done in Atlanta and his Passport stamped in Memphis.... His 485 RD : 05/23/02
 
after fp2 the message showed for primary as fp results recieved on march 10th 04
today it shows march 17th 04
and no change for derivative shows old fp 1 message
no rfe yet
whats going on with bcis:confused:
 
For me the message did not change when we got the 2nd FP notice. Also, it did not change after the 2nd FP was done last week. I called up FBI and they confirmed they send the results in 6 minutes. Called up Service Centre today and they say don't worry, there are some cases where FP2 is not reflected.
As they say with USCIS "Kuch Bhi ho Sakta Hai " i.e. anything is possible .
 
Apply for EAD...

I strongly believe that if Your FP is current....your application for anEAD will trigger approval within a week or 2....
 
it might work to ping BCIS somehow.

A lot of folks have said EAD got their file moving.
So if your FP is current and no RFE etc is pending,

1. Apply EAD if possible.
2 Wait for a few weeks and then apply for AP.

So that will hopefully keep your file well dusted and hopefully you will see something soon.

If both do not work, wait patiently. Atleast you would have tried :)

I agree. I applied for an EAD (by mail ) in 1st week of March and my file moved. I got a 2nd FP. I was hoping for approval though :(

I agree but for those they are waiting for name check to be cleared can not do any thing but just wait.
 
It has been almost 5 months after my second FP. Contacted congressman's office last month. Still waiting.... I will contact my congressman's office again tomorrow....
